📝 Note: The reason MO2 is preferred over Vortex is due to how Vortex handles the load order. You should always only use one mod manager AND NMM is completely broken anyway problem you have with NMM is once it does go bad you have to clean install FO4 start over if you plan on having less than 20 mods NMM can work but if you want to install more mods and ones that update frequently then you need MO2 or vortex. but once they work or you know how its all downhill. MO2 is hands on more requires watching 1 hour of tutorials but vortex can also.
